Stereotactic body radiation therapy is a radiation technique in which extremely high doses of radiation are delivered to very well defined target volumes with the goal of sterilizing the tumor within the target. Both the risk and rewards of treatment are high. This conference is heavily devoted to a discussion of the technical aspects of treatment including immobilization, treatment planning, dose specification and delivery of treatment. There is also discussion of appropriate case selection for this treatment.
