The Sutter Health PGY-1/PGY-2 Health System Pharmacy Administration and Leadership (HSPAL) Residency program is a unique opportunity for residents interested in pharmacy leadership. The resident will gain experiences in all aspects of pharmacy practice management in a large not-for-profit health system. The PGY-1 year will provide the resident with clinical experiences at a Sutter Medical Center Sacramento, while the PGY-2 year will expose the resident to leadership roles in the acute care, ambulatory care, and administrative settings.

Residents will learn foundational clinical skills and train in key pharmacy leadership specialty areas throughout the Sutter system.

There can be up to two residents in the HSPAL residency program. One in the PGY1 year and one in the PGY2 year.
