Memorial Medical Center PGY1 provides residents the opportunity to strengthen and solidify their clinical skills by providing patient care services across the continuum of care. The resident will complete 8 six-week block rotations, along with longitudinal rotations. Core rotations will help build a strong clinical, operational, and management skills, while allowing the residents to pursue their area of interest through a variety of elective rotations. The resident will also be involved with teaching pharmacy students throughout the year.

Core Rotations:
- Orientation (2 weeks)

- Inpatient Pharmacy Operations (6 weeks)
- Transitions of Care (6 weeks)
Longitudinal Rotations:
- Inpatient Pharmacy Staffing (2 days per month over approximately 32 weeks)
- Pharmacy Research (2 weeks, in addition to 1 hour a week throughout the year)
- Pharmacy Administration (1 hours per week over approximately 50 weeks)
- Emergency Medical Response (2 hours per month throughout the year)
