The Sutter Roseville Medical Center Transitional Year Residency Program is dedicated to providing and enriching academic and clinical learning environment that will successfully prepare its residents to excel in their future training programs.

There are 15 resident positions in the Sutter Roseville Medical Center Transitional Year Residency Program.

Applications for the one-year Transitional Year residency program must be submitted through the Electronic Residency Application Service (ERAS). Interviews are by invitation only.

Located at the base of the Sierra Nevada foothills, Roseville offers 340 days of sunshine a year, many job opportunities and low crime rates. The area is a short drive from all that Northern California has to offer, including wine country and the ski slopes. Local options for outdoor activities and recreation as well as fine dining and high-end shopping are abundant right in Roseville. The area surrounding Sutter Rosevillle Medical Center is growing quickly and is projected to add more than 150,000 residents over the next 20 years.
