Dear Residency Candidate,
On behalf of the faculty and administration of the Sutter Roseville Medical Center, I’d like to thank you for your interest in our Transitional Year Residency Program. We are dedicated to providing an enriching academic and clinical learning environment that will start to prepare residents for independent practice.
Our Transitional Year residents will train under board certified and licensed physicians with extensive teaching experience. Our faculty will work closely with the residents to ensure they receive a solid foundation in a wide variety of specialties. A unique feature of our program is the flexibility that allows residents to craft an experience that will best prepare them for additional training as physicians.
Our focus is on providing a one-year experience to maximize growth, help identify patterns, and provide guidance to help our learners maximize their potential. It is our goal to provide them not only with medical knowledge, but the tools they need to continue their success in the future. Sutter Roseville Medical Center’s patient volume and unique cases offer residents a hands-on experience and source of knowledge in Internal Medicine, Surgery, Emergency Medicine, quality improvement, and additional subspecialties.
We welcome your questions about the program. Please reach out to our program coordinator, Ian Armacher for more information. Again, on behalf of our entire faculty, thank you for your interest in our program. I look forward to meeting you.
Sincerely,
Rishi A. Menon M.D.
