Welcome to the California Pacific Medical Center Internal Medicine Residency website! We hope this site will give you a sense for what makes our program so special.

There are a few key points about our program that I would like to highlight. We are a residency program which strives to promote outstanding education in a wonderfully collegial, nurturing environment. We are an academic community hospital and take pride in ensuring a robust clinical foundation for our preliminary and categorical residents. Our residents and interns are prepared for a life-long careers in medicine. We also enrich our educational environment through our affiliations with the Dartmouth Medical School and the University of California, San Francisco.

In our clinical realm, CPMC is a cutting-edge community-based hospital that serves as a quaternary referral center for a large portion of Northern California. We serve a diverse, multi-cultural patient population that includes patients of all socioeconomic levels. We care for a wonderful mix of patients with common and uncommon illnesses.

Finally, I’d like to return to the special culture that is CPMC. Our residents cherish the collaborative medical community that develops them into outstanding clinicians while promoting wellness, academic rigor, and collegiality.
