The educational opportunities and requirements for Sutter Roseville’s Cardiovascular Disease Fellows include conferences, lectures, journal clubs, grand rounds and more. Our didactic activities are foundational in the training of competent cardiologists.
- Cardiac Catheterization Conference – Fellow led core case conference occurring weekly in which challenging clinical cases are presented accompanied by a review of the medical literature and key teaching points.
- Echocardiography Conference - Monthly conference led by non-invasive faculty involving presentations of unique and challenging echocardiography cases with specific learning objectives.
- Advanced Imaging Conference – Monthly conference led by non-invasive faculty involving presentations of unique and challenging nuclear myocardial perfusion imaging, cardiac computed tomography, and cardiac magnetic resonance imaging.
- Grand Rounds – Quarterly presentations on cutting-edge topics in Cardiovascular Disease.
- Morbidity and Mortality Conference – Monthly fellows’ led conference involving case review and detailed analysis of adverse patient outcomes.
